Emily Pacilio is a dancer, choreographer & educator and Gavin Price is an actor, musician, designer developer, and public health advocate. Together, they form The Basics.

A real-life married couple, Emily & Gavin find great pleasure in teaching their respective art forms to one another. Within this rigor of reversal, reflection ensues and the creation of the work cannot be separated from the individuals; ultimately the duo.

As Emily sings karaoke, Gavin figures out how to do a ball-change. This labor of love results in a deeply human comedy - one that is actually funny.
